About Us
Concordia Ensemble is a not-for-profit opera company based in Sydney, Australia. Each year, we aim to present a season, which features at least one work by an underrepresented composer. We also try to represent a greater variety of diverse composers, including female and Australian composers. Our main objectives are to provide an accessible performance experience for audiences and dispense professional development for young performers.
Our 2022 Season will see us explore a mix of fully staged operas, and a specialised salon series hosted by St Stephen's Uniting Church, Sydney.

Operatic Season
A staple of Concordia Ensemble's yearly production season, our 2022 Operatic Season will feature several wonderful works, ranging from Baroque opera to hidden gems of the Romantic period. Watch this space for the final announcement of our 2022 Operatic Season!
Salon Series @ St Stephen's
In 2022, Concordia Ensemble is officially launching their Salon Series at St Stephen's. This series of concerts will feature operas and programs performed oratorio-style for audience members seated in a cabaret arrangement. Performed in the intimate space of Ferguson Hall below St Stephen's Uniting Church, these performances under 2 hours with low cost ticketing will provide audience members with accessible opera. Suited to both the seasoned attendee of classical music and newcomer, these smaller scale performances are the perfect option for everyone.
